I was 4 years ago working in a SEO company and found out that you learn lot of basic things by handling projects and many link-building tasks. But to thoroughly Understand all the SEO and it's concepts you have to work on a same domain where you can measure its performance. Percentage increase and decrease in the site rankings and actually see your page rank rising up.
Within a single seo company which handles different projects, this becomes difficult.
Now i work on a single website and I am able to know much about the seo and can gather more result then I ever could.
