On-page Optimization- What techniques really work

Whenever we come to on page optimisation of websites we use techniques which sometimes do not give us the result we want in particular.

The things used in on page optimisation are:
google adword keyword tool external,
Targeting keywords,
Competition and
Intitle

Google adword Keyword tool external
Google adword keyword tool is the best and free one tool available on the net. It shows us searches and competition of the keyword.

Such type of tool is helpful in building a great keyword list.
It shows us the searches and the competition of the websites. "But" the problem with this is it does not give us the actual values and hereby helps us in providing approximate values.

Competition
Whenever you are optimising the on page factors do not only consider high search phrases but also the targeted traffic.



Other things such as competition is found out manually at google by providing keywords in double qoutes in google search such as "best seo company". It will show you how much keyword are provided on the search results page and websites using it.


Some of the websites you see are on the top of the search results and not having the keywords?
How can this happen? This may be another topic and i will discuss later on for sure.


Intitle
Intitle is the google search query which provides us information how much websites are targeting this on the title of their pages. Just type in the intitle:"keyword" on the google search page to find out this.
